The Riot Act for 4.27.09

Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Titles on the line and Number One Contenders Announced

The Dark City Fight Club return to Florida to defend the Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Titles for the first time and their opponents have just been announced. The Dark City Fight Club will be defending their titles against fellow 911 Incorporated members Francisco Ciatso and Shawn Osborne. Neither team would comment on this matchup and attempts to get any comment from Ron Niemi were unsuccessful. One thing is guaranteed and that is a member of 911 Incorporated will be Tag Team Champions at the end of the night. Both teams are known for actions than their words and their actions in the ring on Friday night will determine who walks out of Port Richey with the Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Titles.

Jaison Moore seeks revenge on May 1st

Over the last few months, Scott Davis has shown a more devious side in and out of the ring and his main target has been Jaison Moore. The problems between Moore and Davis started during the Road for Gold Tournament when Moore tried to stop Scott Davis from attacking Jerrelle Clark. Davis and Moore met in the second round of the Road for Gold Tournament and Davis got the victory over Moore, but Davis fell short in the tournament, losing to Sideshow in the semifinals last month. Scott Davis may have taken out some of his frustrations on Jaison Moore later in the night when he attacked Moore after Moore’s match against T.J. Perkins, and things would have been worse if Perkins had not returned to the ring to help Moore.

Jaison Moore went to Pro Wrestling Riot management after the unprovoked attack by Scott Davis and demanded a match against Scott Davis. Davis has accepted the match and these two men will have a rematch of their Road for Gold Tournament match. Will Davis have something up his sleeve to stay one step ahead of Moore?

Craig Classic Returns to Pro Wrestling Riot

After a successful tour of Japan, Craig Classic returns to Pro Wrestling Riot on May 1st. The last time that Craig was in a Pro Wrestling Riot ring, he lost to Jaison Moore in the first round of the Road for Gold Tournament. Craig was also a participant in the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup and had what some considered the best match of the first round against Gran Akuma. Now that Classic is back in the United States, he wants to make an impression in Pro Wrestling Riot. Craig has asked to face the top talent in the company and his challenge has been accepted by Chris Jones.

Chris Jones is one of the top young talents in Florida and he has faced and defeated some of the top wrestlers in the state of Florida. After Jones’ loss to Bruce Santee last month in the semifinals, he is looking to get back on track and a victory over Craig Classic will mean a lot for Chris.

The Riot Act for 4.24.09

Congratulations to the New Champions

Over the last few months, Pro Wrestling Riot has held the Road to Gold Tournaments to determine the first Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Champion and the first Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Team Champions. Pro Wrestling Riot wants to congratulate Bruce Santee who won the sixteen man tournament by defeating Roderick Strong in the first round, Shawn Osborne in the quarterfinals, Chris Jones in the semifinals and Sideshow in the Finals.

Despite the problems that Pro Wrestling Riot has had with 911 Incorporated since day one, they congratulate the Dark City Fight Club of Jon Davis and Kory Chavis who outlasted seven other teams to win the Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Team Titles. The Dark City Fight Club defeated The Lifeguards in the quarterfinals, The British Lions in the semifinals, and Bumz R Us in the finals.

Who will challenge the new champions?

The Fallout from the Heavyweight Title Tournament

After Bruce Santee defeated Sideshow to win the Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Title, Sideshow attacked Bruce Santee and Sideshow was assisted by C.J. O’Doyle who was in Sideshow’s corner. Sedrick Strong came out to help Bruce Santee but in the end, it was Sideshow and C.J. O’Doyle who had the upper hand.

Sideshow told Santee and the people in Port Richey the reason for the attack and he talked about how he thought Bruce was his friend, but when Sideshow was having issues with his sister and was away from Pro Wrestling Riot, he was never there and Santee would rather spend time with Sedrick. Sideshow has still not gotten beyond the issues that he has with Sedrick and his sister Danielle. Sideshow has been talking to his true friend, C.J. O’Doyle and they decided to become a team and will be known as the Celtic Sinners.

On May 1st, The Celtic Sinners will have their first match in Pro Wrestling Riot and they will face the new Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Champion Bruce Santee and Sedrick Strong.

Pro Wrestling Riot Features Mustache Rides on May 1st

Another wrestler who has made his reputation on the west coast comes to Pro Wrestling Riot to show what he can do against the top talent in Florida . After TJ Perkins’ successful debut last month, Joey Ryan will try to win his debut in Pro Wrestling Riot. Ryan will have a tough opponent on May 1st when he faces Erick Stevens. Stevens returns to Pro Wrestling Riot after taking some away from the Pro Wrestling Riot ring. Stevens has had some of the top matches in Pro Wrestling Riot and he will try to do the same when he meets Joey Ryan in Port Richey.

A Giant Collision To Take Place on May 1st

The House of Vitale showed a few cracks the last time they appeared in Pro Wrestling Riot. During a non-tournament match, Lou the Fixer helped Ronnie the Red and Brett Thunder get the upset victory over the Heartbreak Express. After the match, The Heartbreak Express were fed up with what they considered to be Lou’s incompetence because of the problems that he caused for the House of Vitale over the last few months. Lou was fed up with the other members of the House of Vitale and he fought off an attack by the members of the House of Vitale.

Later in the night, Snow was involved in the Snow Open Challenge against Alejandro, who was accompanied by New Jack. After the match ended, Lou the Fixer came out to help New Jack and Alejandro and challenged Snow to a match. The challenge has been accepted and Lou the Fixer and Snow will meet on May 1st.

The Riot Act for 3.19.09

Next Friday night marks the return of Pro Wrestling Riot and the completion of the Tag Team and Heavyweight Tournaments to determine the first Pro Wrestling Riot champions. The last Riot Act looked at the remaining participants in those tournaments. This edition of the Riot Act will look at some of the other things that will take place on Friday March 27, 2009 at The New Lakes in Regency Park Civic Center in Port Richey.

Sedrick Strong versus C.J. O’Doyle signed for March 27th

At the last Pro Wrestling Riot show, Sedrick Strong confronted Sideshow and they agreed that they would finish things after Sideshow was no longer in the tournament. Sedrick Strong has asked for a match against Sideshow’s friend C.J. O’Doyle on March 27th and O’Doyle has accepted the challenge. Will Sedrick send a message to Sideshow during this match or does Sideshow have something up his sleeve for Sedrick to set up their match after the Heavyweight Title Tournament?

T.J. Perkins debuts in Pro Wrestling Riot

New Japan veteran T.J. Perkins will make his debut on March 27th and he will get to face New Port Richey’s Jaison Moore. Perkins has had a lot of success in Japan, TNA and in the West coast of the United States and he will try to translate that success in Florida. Jaison Moore has gained victories over Kenny King, Rhett Titus and Craig Classic. He is looking forward to adding T.J. Perkins to his list. This cruiserweight match should make an impact on the fans in Port Richey.

Snow makes an open challenge

Snow, the enforcer of the House of Vitale, has made an open challenge for Friday, March 27th. The House of Vitale has been trying to eliminate Bumz R Us and with the Bumz in finals of the Tag Team Tournament, Snow is looking for someone else to make an example on the Pro Wrestling Riot roster for what the House of Vitale is capable of doing. After being involved in matches where people have been sent through tables from the top of a semi-truck, what will Snow do to his opponent? Who will answer the challenge?

The Riot Act for 3.13.09

With two weeks before Pro Wrestling Riot’s return to action at The New Lakes in Regency Park Civic Center in Port Richey, Florida, it is time to take a look at the final four participants in the Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Title Tournament and the two teams that will battle for the right to be called the first Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Team Champions. By the end of the night on March 27th, we will have our first two champions in Pro Wrestling Riot.

Semifinal Matches in the Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Title Tournament

Scott Davis versus Sideshow

How they advanced:
Scott Davis defeated Jerrelle Clark in the first round; defeated Jaison Moore in the second round
Sideshow defeated Damballah in the first round; defeated Chasyn Rance in the second round

This match features two men with different in ring styles. Scott Davis employs a tradition wrestling style while doing whatever he can to win and he does not care if he has to break a rule or two on the way. Davis has also added a more ruthless style during the tournament and has used a steel chair after both victories in the tournament. If Davis hopes to win, he will have to rely on a combination of styles against Sideshow in order to advance to the finals.

Sideshow has had a prominent role in Pro Wrestling Riot since day one and he has endured more during the company’s existence than anyone else on the Pro Wrestling Riot roster. Sideshow has been forced out of Pro Wrestling Riot and has seen his sister get power bombed through a table due to his issues with 911 Incorporated. Sideshow has also had some problems with people who he thought were his friends because after the War Games Match during Night Two of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup, he saw Sedrick Strong get too close to his sister Danielle. Since that incident, Sideshow has had a few incidents with Strong, but they have vowed to put their problems on hold until Sideshow is done with the tournament. Sideshow has a style that is hard to counter because he often appears to enjoy being beaten up by his opponent.

Bruce Santee versus Chris Jones

How they advanced:
Bruce Santee defeated Roderick Strong in the first round; defeated Shawn Osborne in the second round
Chris Jones defeated Austin Amadeus in the first round; defeated Francisco Ciatso in the second round

Bruce Santee is one of the top wrestlers in Florida and he showed what he can do in the ring by defeating Roderick Strong in a match that people who are not familiar with Bruce’s work would consider an upset. For the people who have followed Santee, they know what he has done in the state. Santee has shown that he can work in singles and tag matches and he is able to wrestle against anyone regardless of their size. While Santee can work with smaller wrestlers, his size advantage over most of his opponents is something that he is able to utilize.

Chris Jones has had a meteoric rise at the start of his career and Chris looks to add the Pro Wrestling Riot title to his list of achievements. Jones employs a frenetic style that includes a lot of high risk moves. This is something that works well against opponents his size, but on the 27th he will be in the ring with a much larger opponent. Jones does not show any fear when in the ring and he needs to continue to use that style against Santee, who knows every trick in the book.

Finals of the Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Title Tournament

Bumz R Us (Milo Beasley and Ray Beez) versus Dark City Fight Club (Jon Davis and Kory Chavis)

How they advanced:
Bumz R Us defeated Dynamic Duo in the first round; defeated The Heartbreak Express in the second round
Dark City Fight Club defeated The Lifeguards in the first round; defeated The British Lions in the second round

The team of Ray Beez and Milo Beasley have been the tag team that has made the most of their opportunity in Pro Wrestling Riot. These two down on their luck gentlemen were given an opportunity to literally get out of the gutter and they have thrived in Riot. After taking money that ended up coming from Amy Vitale, the Bumz have been fighting members of the House of Vitale in brawls that have seen tables and bodies broken. If the Bumz are able to win the title, what will they end up doing with the title belts?

The Dark City Fight Club is one of the toughest tag teams in the state of Florida and they will probably have more fun trying to destroy the Bumz than the possibility of winning the Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Titles. Everywhere that Jon Davis and Kory Chavis have wrestled, they have left their opponents regretting that they signed the contract to face them. While the Dark City Fight Club is going to try to win the title for themselves, they are the final members of 911 Incorporated who have the chance to win a title.

The Riot Act for 2.3.09

It is now less than two weeks until the next round in the Road to Gold in Pro Wrestling Riot and after February 14th, we will be one round closer to crowning the first Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Champion and first Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Team Champions.

Full Throttle 2 DVD Set Now Available

The non-tournament matches from the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup from this past September are now available on DVD and are part of the two disc Full Throttle DVD. On this disc, you will see the War Games Match from the second night featuring 911 Incorporated against Sideshow, Bruce Santee, Sedrick Strong, and Black Market that saw Sideshow gain revenge on 911 Incorporated but also saw the start of problems between Strong and Sideshow. Also on this disc is the TLC match between Bumz R Us and the House of Vitale from night two. There was a Tag Team Gauntlet Match featuring many of the teams that were in the Road To Gold. Also from night two was a eight man tag match featuring many of the participants who lost in the first round of the tournament.

In the non-tournament matches from night one, 911 Incorporated faced Bruce Santee and Sideshow in a three-on-two Handicap Match. There was also a six man tag match with the Heartbreak Express teaming with Scott Davis to face The Lifeguards and Austin Amadeus. In the final night one match, there was a Triple Threat Match with Chasyn Rance, Jerrelle Clark, and Icarus.

The second disc is titled ‘A History of Violence’ and it features a look at two of the biggest feuds in the brief history of Pro Wrestling Riot: 911 Incorporated versus Bruce Santee, Sideshow, and Sedrick Strong along with other members of the Pro Wrestling Riot roster; and Bumz R Us versus the House of Vitale.

911 Incorporated made their mark in Pro Wrestling Riot at Starting a Riot when they held a birthday celebration for Bruce Santee and reminded Bruce of their history together. When Bruce turned them down and wanted to establish himself without any assistance from the members of 911 Incorporated, Bruce was attacked. The ranks of 911 Incorporated grew with the addition of the Dark City Fight Club of Kory Chavis and Jon Davis and ‘The Bad Seed’ Shawn Osborne. Sideshow came to help Santee and he was joined by Sedrick Strong, and many of the other members of the Riot roster.

Things escalated when Sideshow’s sister Danielle came to see her brother wrestle for the first time. On that night, Danielle was attacked by 911 Incorporated and she was power bombed through a table. In a tag team tables match with the person going through the table being forced out of Pro Wrestling Riot for 90 days, Danielle was brought back into the building by the Shane Twins. Sideshow decided to sacrifice his career for his sister. After a series of matches, the stakes were raised again with the War Games match on night two of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup.

The feud between Bumz R Us and The House of Vitale started when the Bumz were recruited with what turned out to be money from the House of Vitale. With the newfound wealth, the Bumz angered Vitale and this lead to her bringing in a bunch of monsters to try to get rid of the Bumz and get her money back. When she was finally able to get the briefcase with the money, she was not happy when the briefcase was full of IOUs. The Bumz and House of Vitale have engaged in a number of battles that have seen them go into the parking lot and use the semi-truck that transports the ring. During those battles, we have seen Ray Beez get choke slammed off the top of the truck through tables; and Lou the Fixer get sent through a table

Looking at the Tournaments

In the last Riot Act, we looked at the individual matches in the quarterfinals of the Heavyweight Title Tournament and the semifinals of the Tag Team Tournament. It is time to look ahead to what might happen in the next rounds.

In the Heavyweight Title Tournament, there is the possibility that two members of 911 Incorporated could meet in the semi-finals and guarantee a spot in the finals for 911 Incorporated. Shawn Osborne and Francisco Ciatso have tough matches against Bruce Santee and Chris Jones respectively. If Santee can get past Osborne, it could set up a battle of two of the top heavyweights in Florida against Ciatso. Will the opportunity to face 911 Incorporated if Osborne or Ciatso make it through the other half be enough to get Sideshow through his half of the brackets? Will Jaison Moore be able to bring back the upset bug that got him past Kenny King in the past as he faces another veteran in the quarterfinals?

In the Tag Team Tournament, we could see a literal rags to riches situation if Bumz R Us can win two more matches. The Bumz and Heartbreak Express have wrestled in the past and we could see an upset from the Bumz. The Heartbreak Express are one of the most decorated tag teams in Florida and the thought of adding the Pro Wrestling Riot tag titles might be enough to stop the upset minded Bumz. The other tag match should be a hard hitting affair and it might hurt their chances of winning the titles because they could batter each other and give their opponents in the finals an advantage. If 911 Incorporated is at ringside with the Dark City Fight Club, it will give them an obvious advantage. Ron Niemi will probably do anything to make sure that all of the gold is with 911 Incorporated.

New Jack to Appear

Former ECW star New Jack will make his debut at Pro Wrestling Riot on February 14th. Jack will be in Port Richey to sign autographs and to sell merchandise. With New Jack’s reputation in ECW, FIP, and other companies, he is someone who will not back down from a challenge regardless of the size of the person challenging him. Will New Jack be content to stay at the merchandise table or will he have his buggy of weapons with him? There is only one way to find out and that is to be at the New Lakes in Regency Park Civic Center.

The Riot Act for 1.23.09

This edition of the Riot Act will take a look at the second round matches that will take place in the Heavyweight Title Tournament as well as the semi-final matches in the Tag Title Tournament in the Road to Gold. Phase Three of the Road to Gold will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2008 at The New Lakes in Regency Park Civic Center in Port Richey, Florida.

Second Round Matches in the Heavyweight Title Tournament

Jaison Moore versus Scott Davis

How they advanced to the second round: Jaison Moore defeated Craig Classic; Scott Davis defeated Jerrelle Clark

Jaison Moore has been with Pro Wrestling Riot since day one and was involved in a short term feud with Kenny King that saw Moore get two victories over King. Moore was a participant in the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup after qualifying in a time limit draw with Nooie Lee that had the officials with the Peterson Cup so impressed that both men were entered into the tournament. Moore advanced to the second round before losing to Brad Attitude.

Scott Davis has been with Pro Wrestling Riot since last January and he has worked both in singles and tag team action. Davis wrestles an old school style that focuses on wearing down his opponent instead of trying to overwhelm his opponents with high flying maneuvers. Over the last few shows, Scott has shown a mean streak that led to a post-match attack on Jerrelle Clark with a steel chair. Davis was confronted by his opponent on the 14th, Jaison Moore before he left the ring because he had done the damage to Clark. Will Davis hold any animosity towards Moore for not letting him finish off Clark or will it distract Davis when he meets Moore.

Chasyn Rance versus Sideshow

How they advanced to the second round: Chasyn Rance defeated C.J. O’Doyle; Sideshow defeated Damballah

Sideshow has been dealing with 911 Incorporated since day one, and then when he thought he had the alliance to help him with 911, the problems came from within his circle of friends. Sideshow thought that his sister was getting too close to Sedrick Strong and this ended their friendship. While Sideshow tried to help Sedrick, Sedrick would not believe Sideshow. Instead of the scheduled in ring confrontation, Sideshow decided not to show up. Now that he has a chance to win the Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Title, will the fact that Sedrick Strong is no longer in the tournament going to be motivation for him to advance to the semi-finals?

Chasyn Rance is one of the members of Team Vision and he is one of the top wrestlers in the state and showed that it does not matter the size of his opponent as he defeated C.J. O’Doyle in the first round. Will Rance be able to stop Sideshow without any other members of Team Vision in the building? Since Rance’s first round opponent is friends with Sideshow, will Rance need to change his strategy for Sideshow? Will Rance resort to questionable tactics to distract Sideshow to move on to the semi-finals?

Chris Jones versus Francisco Ciatso

How they advanced to the second round: Chris Jones defeated Austin Amadeus; Francisco Ciatso defeated Nooie Lee

Chris Jones is one of the fastest rising stars in the state of Florida and he hopes to build on the success that he has experienced in other parts of the state by becoming the first Pro Wrestling Riot Champion. Jones made his Pro Wrestling Riot debut during the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup and had one of the top matches of the first round against Erick Stevens. While he did not win the match, Jones established a strong base of fans and he has built on that since his debut. Jones will try to frustrate larger opponents with his frenetic pace and high flying style.

Francisco Ciatso has been a thorn in the side of many people in Pro Wrestling Riot since day one when he joined in the attack against Bruce Santee when Santee refused to remain a part of 911 Incorporated. Ciatso has been a major factor with the problems that Sideshow has had because of his attempts to get rid of Sideshow’s sister. Ciatso was a part of the War Games match during the second night of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. Ciatso is a veteran who prefers to destroy his opponent and overpower them with his size advantage. He will have that chance on the 14th when he faces Chris Jones.

Bruce Santee versus Shawn Osborne

How they advanced to the second round: Bruce Santee defeated Roderick Strong; Shawn Osborne defeated Sedrick Strong

Bruce Santee was in the first main event for Pro Wrestling Riot and at the conclusion of that match, Santee started his feud with 911 Incorporated when he would not join forces with Ron Niemi. Santee has been trying his hardest to eliminate 911 Incorporated from Pro Wrestling Riot and was a part of the team that defeated 911 Incorporated in the War Games Match during Night Two of the Peterson Cup. In the opening round, Santee was able to show that he is among the top wrestlers in Florida by defeating Roderick Strong to advance to his match against Shawn Osborne. Santee will get another chance to take care of a member of 911 Incorporated.

Shawn Osborne made his debut with Pro Wrestling Riot in July 2008 when he joined 911 Incorporated. While he lost to Erick Stevens, Osborne had a solid performance and made a good complement to the group. Osborne has already faced Bruce Santee in a Pro Wrestling Riot ring, but this will be the first time they meet in a one-on-one situation. They were part of the handicap tag team match during Night One of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. Osborne had some assistance to advance to the second round thanks to fellow 911 Incorporated member Rod Steel. Osborne has high expectations to win the Pro Wrestling Riot Heavyweight Title and if he can get past Santee, will he face his fellow 911 Incorporated member Francisco Ciatso in the semi-finals?

Semi-Final Matches in the Tag Title Tournament

Bumz R Us (Ray Beez and Milo Beasley) versus The Heartbreak Express (Sean and Phil Davis with Amy Vitale)

How they advanced to the semi-finals: Bumz R Us defeated the Dynamic Duo; Heartbreak Express defeated The Loggers

Ray Beez and Milo Beasley have become cult favorites in Pro Wrestling Riot and they have been taking advantage of their eccentric lifestyle. They were recruited to take care of some people in the company, but once they got Amy Vitale’s money, they were changed men. While the Bums lost the briefcase, they continue to have the money. The House of Vitale has tried to finish off Beasley and Beez, but the Bums stay one step ahead of Vitale. On the 14th, that lucky streak might end when they have to face Amy Vitale’s team of the Heartbreak Express. The Bums have absorbed a lot of punishment during their time in Pro Wrestling Riot but it will be worth it if they can get the Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Team Titles.

The Heartbreak Express are one of the top tag teams in the state of Florida and they have a very long list of accolades, but they are looking forward to adding the Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Titles. Sean and Phil Davis are dangerous enough on their own, but with the addition of Amy Vitale to the mix only makes them stronger because they are trying to impress Amy. Sean and Phil bring an old school style of wrestling and they do a great job of incorporating double team maneuvers and really showcase the art of tag team wrestling. The Heartbreak Express were a part of the Tag Team Gauntlet during Night Two of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup and they want to show that their loss was a fluke.

Dark City Fight Club (Kory Chavis and Jon Davis with Ron Niemi) versus The British Lions (Tommy Taylor and Chris Gray)

How they advanced to the semi-finals: Dark City Fight Club defeated The Lifeguards; British Lions defeated The House of Vitale

The Dark City Fight Club are one of the most dangerous tag teams in the state of Florida and their presence in 911 Incorporated only makes them more dangerous. Since their entry in Pro Wrestling Riot, Kory Chavis and Jon Davis have shown no mercy to their opponents. Their first round opponents were no exception and they made easy work of the Lifeguards to advance in the tournament.

The British Lions have made a quick impact in Pro Wrestling Riot after making their debuts during the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. After failing to get out of the first round, Taylor and Gray showed what they can do as a tag team by winning the tag team gauntlet during Night Two. Taylor and Gray used that performance to build momentum for their first round match against Lou The Fixer and Snow.

The Riot Act for 12.5.08

Sideshow and Sedrick Strong to Meet in the Ring

Since the War Games Match in Brooksville, the tension between Sideshow and Sedrick Strong has grown despite the fact that they won the match against 911 Incorporated based on Sideshow’s reaction to Sedrick’s celebration with Sideshow’s sister Danielle. During the first half of the Road to Gold, Sideshow confronted Sedrick and they appeared to resolve their problems but not everything was perfect between them. Both men were in first round matches during Part One of Road to Gold. While Sideshow defeated Damballah, Sedrick was defeated by Shawn Osborne.

Sedrick thought that Sideshow hit him with the chair that cost him the match and they had to be separated by Bruce Santee and C.J. O’Doyle because Sedrick would not listen to Sideshow telling him that he did not hit Sedrick. Sedrick was shown the footage of the match and he saw that Sideshow was telling him the truth that he did not hit Sedrick with the chair.

Now that Sedrick has all of the facts about the end of his match against Shawn Osborne, they will meet in the ring next Saturday night to air out their dirty laundry since the War Games match.

The House of Vitale Gets Spiritual

Since adding some new members to the House of Vitale to join the Heartbreak Express, Amy Vitale has had a few problems to deal with. Amy has added Lou the Fixer, Raymond ‘Killing Machine’ Snow, and Damballah to the group, but with their start, they have not lived up to the high standards that are expected if you are associated with the Princess of Pro Wrestling Riot.

Damballah lost his first round match in the Pro Wrestling Riot Title Tournament to Sideshow by disqualification. After the match, while Damballah thought he was doing the right thing to impress Amy, but he was angering her. Amy was seen leaving the ring on the telephone, telling that person that she could not take it any more.

Amy had some problems with Lou the Fixer and Raymond Snow, and she felt that she could not control the two men by herself, so she called in a favor and brought in an old friend who was her spiritual advisor to take care of the more difficult members of the group. Amy introduced Vic Slowhand to the Pro Wrestling Riot fans and he tried to provide Lou the Fixer and Raymond Snow with the proper guidance to get past the British Lions. However, they fell short as Lou and Snow continued to have problems that have existed since Snow was locked in a truck during their Falls Count Anywhere Match while Lou was sent through a table. Then they lost a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match when Lou got pinned during the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup in Brooksville. Will Vic be able to help Amy control the House of Vitale?

The First Round Concludes on December 12th

The first round of both the Pro Wrestling Riot Title Tournament and Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Team Tournament conclude on Friday, December 12th with four singles matches and two tag team matches.

In the Pro Wrestling Riot Title Tournament, two of the top wrestlers from Florida meet as Roderick Strong takes on Bruce Santee with the winner advancing to face Shawn Osborne in the second round. The other match on that side of the brackets in the first round is Francisco Ciatso versus Nooie Lee with Chris Jones awaiting the winner in the second round.

On the other half of the bracket, Scott Davis battles Jerrelle Clark to see who will meet Jaison Moore in the second round. The final first round match will see C.J. O’Doyle face Chasyn Rance to determine who will face Sideshow in round two.

In the first round of the Tag Team Tournament, the Heartbreak Express face The Loggers to see who will meet Bumz R Us in the semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, the British Lions await the winner of the match between the Dark City Fight Club and The Lifeguards.

The Riot Act for 11.20.08

ROAD TO GOLD ROLLS ON

Sixteen single competitors & eight tag teams started on the Road to Gold to vie for the honor of being Pro Wrestling RIOT’s first champions – Now only twelve single & six tag teams remain. We discussed the last four first round single matches in the last RIOT Act, now we discuss in detail the last two first round matches in the PWR Tag Team tournament:

The Lifeguards of Daron Smythe & Wade Koverly vs. The Dark City Fight Club of Kory Chavis & Jon Davis – Two of the Southeast’s top tag teams collide in this first round tournament match for the PWR Tag Team Championship. The Dark City Fight Club of Chavis & Davis, lead by “The Hardcore Giant” Ron Niemi, have “bling bling” on their mind. The DCFC have been virtually unstoppable in tag team competition as part of Niemi’s 911, Inc. The Lifeguards of Koverly & Smythe have been one of the top teams in RIOT since day one. In fact, The Lifeguards wrestled in the very first match on the first ever Pro Wrestling RIOT event “Starting a RIOT”. This matchup promises to be tag team wrestling at its finest.

The Heartbreak Express of Sean & Phil Davis vs. The Loggers of Lumberjack Manley & The Mighty Dagon – Two-time former FIP Tag Team Champions, The Heartbreak Express, along with their “princess” Amy Vitale, go head-to-head with one of the most unorthodox tag teams in the Southeast, the Loggers! The Heartbreak Express have been nothing but trouble since debuting in Pro Wrestling RIOT and have changed the tag team landscape everywhere they have competed. The Loggers debuted in the Tag Team Gauntlet match at the “2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup”. These two tough competitors from Up North would like nothing more than to chop the competition down to size and they start with the House of Vitale.

AN OPEN LETTER FROM 911, INC.’S RON NIEMI

The Road to the Gold leads to 911 Incorporated! I am here to guarantee without any doubt whatsoever when all is said and done and when the dust clears everybody will hear myself, the “Hardcore Giant” Ron Niemi say, I TOLD YOU SO!

From the very beginning 911 Incorporated has guaranteed we would dominate Pro Wrestling Riot and we have done everything we set out to do. Nobody is stupid enough to doubt the fact that when you are talking about heavyweight title contenders Shawn Osborne and Francisco Ciatso are as good as it gets. It is not a question on if 911 Inc. will take home the heavyweight championship it is just a matter of who will take home the championship. Shawn Osborne already steam rolled Sedrick Strong as I expected he would and next Francisco will make quick work of Nooie Lee who I have to admit is a young star to keep your eye on but truth is Frankie has eaten meatballs bigger than Nooie. But seriously, he has.

When it comes to the tag team titles in Pro Wrestling Riot is there anybody who would put their money against the likes of the Dark City Fight Club!? Honestly who in their right mind would consider think they stand a chance in this tournament with Jon Davis and Kory Chavis representing 911 Incorporated? It’s almost unfair and if I was the type of guy who felt guilty about hurting people I would probably feel terrible about what is going to happen to The Lifeguards on December 12th in Port Richey. Are we supposed to apologize in advance? Are we supposed to feel sympathy and take it easy on this up and coming tag team? Honestly if these boys had any sense they would forfeit the match and live to fight another day but somehow I have a feeling that isn’t going to happen. Understand I cannot be held responsible for what happens to these young men.

On December 12th I along with my trusted friend Rod Steel will be returning to Pro Wrestling Riot and The Road to the Gold is going to be the start of the next stage of 911 Incorporated. I may have been sidetracked for a couple of months after the brutal beating I took at the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup at the hands of the Sideshow, Bruce Santee, Sedrick Strong and those common criminals The Black Market. As everybody knows I am not a wrestler and was tricked into being a part of this match and while I fought valiantly alongside my family of 911 Incorporated and nearly emerged as the victor. After working the match in my own unique “Michigan Strong Style” mixed with a hybrid version of Catch as Catch Can and Lucha Libre I was caught out of nowhere with a vicious piledriver by Sideshow which nearly broke my incredibly thick neck. I suffered serious injuries to my L-5 and C-3 but after 2 months of nearly round the clock rehab I am back and better than ever.

Rest assured 911 Incorporated and the Hardcore Giant Ron Niemi are back and we are better than ever!

ROAD TO GOLD CONTINUES

Sixteen single competitors & eight tag teams started on the Road to Gold to vie for the honor of being Pro Wrestling RIOT’s first champions – Now only twelve single & six tag teams remain. We’ll be discussing in detail the last two first round matches in the PWR Tag Team tournament in the next RIOT Act. The final four first round single matches will take place on Friday, December 12, 2008 and are as follows:

“The Marquee” Bruce Santee vs. “The Messiah of the Backbreaker” Roderick Strong – Two of the biggest heavy hitters in the Southeast collide in this first round match up. Santee, who main evented Pro Wrestling RIOT’s inaugural event Starting a Riot, has been waging a war against Ron Niemi’s 911, Inc. for the past year. That war concluded with a violent steel cage Wargames match at the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup, which Santee’s team was victorious. Santee now has his eye on the prize – the PWR Championship, but he must first get past what is arguably the top wrestler in the Southeast, Roderick Strong. Strong, who is no stranger to RIOT competition, is a two-time former FIP World Heavyweight Champion. Strong, who was born & raised in Florida, looks to add more gold to his already impressive resume. The winner of this first round match up will face 911, Inc’s “Bad Seed” Shawn Osborne in the second round of the tournament.

Francisco Ciatso vs. Nooie Lee – Francisco Ciatso, a member of Ron Niemi’s 911, Inc. has been on a tear in Pro Wrestling RIOT. Ciatso, who has been part of WWE’s Deep South developmental system, as well seen on WWE & TNA programming, is a proven resourceful competitor who wins by all means necessary. Nooie Lee, is a brash young up-in-comer in Pro Wrestling RIOT. Lee, who recently competed in his second Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup, has upset on his mind. The winner of this first round match up will face FIP Florida Heritage Champion Chris Jones in the second round of the tournament.

“Not Cocky” Chasyn Rance vs. CJ O’Doyle – Rance, who is one of the top cruiserweights in the Southeast, is transitioning from tag team specialist in Pro Wrestling RIOT, to a singles competitor. O’Doyle, who recently participated in the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup, is a tough fighter from Hell’s Kitchen who has been working his way up the RIOT roster. The winner of this first round match up will face the hugely popular Sideshow in the second round of the tournament.

“Mr. 630” Jerrelle Clark vs. “Classic” Scott Davis – Clark, who is a mainstay on the Southeast wrestling scene, looks to even the score against Scott Davis. Clark, one of the top cruiserweights nationally, has been on somewhat of a comeback and looks to conclude his comeback with winning the PWR Championship. Davis, who has amassed an impressive string of victories, including one over Clark, looks to ride a wave of momentum straight to the PWR Championship. The winner of this first round match up will face the PWR favorite Jaison Moore in the second round of the tournament.

TOURNAMENT FINALS SET FOR EARLY 2009

Pro Wrestling RIOT officials have held off on scheduling the finals of the Road to Gold tournaments until all the second round matches have been set. The reason for this is that certain first round competitors have existing commitments that have to be taken into consideration. The date & location of the tournament finals will announced shortly after the first round matches conclude.

NEW CHAMPIONS TO BE CROWNED
As a nation elects its new leaders, Pro Wrestling RIOT is set to crown its first heavyweight & tag team champions at Road to Gold. Sixteen single competitors & eight tag teams will vie for the honor of being Pro Wrestling RIOT’s first champions. All roads lead to this Saturday, November 8th, in Port Richey, FL at the New Lakes in Regency Park Civic Center. There are no polls or pundits; only heart-pounding action like only Pro Wrestling RIOT can deliver. The initial four first round single matches & two first round tag team matches will take place this Saturday and are as follows:

Sideshow vs. Damballah – Arguably the most popular wrestler in Pro Wrestling RIOT goes head-to-head with the most unpredictable & violent competitor on the roster. Sideshow, who has been through a rollercoaster ride over the past year, recently lead his team to a Wargames victory over Ron Niemi’s 911, Inc. at the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. However, that was not without controversy as he had a heated altercation with partner, Sedrick Strong, after the match regarding Sideshow’s sister Danielle. Sideshow, who has been very volatile since the incident where Danielle was powerbombed through a table at It’s Personal, has not been able to be reached for any comment regarding this incident. The dangerous Damballah has been responsible for reaping terror in RIOT, as well as ending the RIOT careers of many competitors. This uncontrollable lunatic seems to be on the trail for blood & carnage more than for gold. Can Amy Vitale control the madman from Sulfur, LA, or will this match be completely out of control?

Sedrick Strong vs. “Bad Seed” Shawn Osborne –Shawn Osborne, the only member of Ron Niemi’s 911, Inc. who will be in attendance at this Saturday’s Road to Gold: Part One has been on a tear in Pro Wrestling RIOT. This former WWE developmental star says that he will be kicking it in overdrive on his way to claim gold in the state of Florida. Sedrick Strong, after a very successful run as a tag team competitor, has solidified himself as one of the top single wrestlers in Pro Wrestling RIOT. Strong has been embroiled in a violent feud with Ron Niemi’s 911, Inc., more specifically, the Dark City Fight Club of Kory Chavis & Jon Davis. Strong’s team was successful over 911, Inc. in Wargames at the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup, only to have the victory celebration end on a sour note. Strong was asked about this incident in recent interview and said the following: “Like I said before, Sideshow and I have never seen eye to eye. He's just not my type of person. And apparently I'm not his either. His sister hugged me. That's it. I didn't kiss her. I didn't grope her. He didn't walk in on me having her bent over the kitchen sink talking about how I'm the greatest and... Well let's just leave it at that. We were celebrating a hard fought win and for some reason, an innocent hug bothered him. I could go on and on about how childish he acted, or how stupid he looked, or how I could have done way worse to his sister... and mother... But I won't. He's upset. If he apologizes for acting like an idiot, we can move on. If not, well I guess we'll see.”

The entire interview is available at http://www.floridawrestlingfans.com/profiles/blogs/2050372:BlogPost:26126

Jaison Moore vs. Craig Classic – These two 2008 Jeff Peterson Cup competitors face off in what promises to be a high impact, fast paced encounter. Moore, a favorite in Pro Wrestling RIOT, has solidified his standing with victories over competitors such as Kenny King, Austin Amadeus & Rhett Titus. Classic, who is a regular with Big Japan Pro Wrestling, stole the show at night one of the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup when he went toe-to-toe with CHIKARA’s Gran Akuma in the first round.

Austin Amadeus vs. Chris Jones – Amadeus, who is embroiled in a heated feud with former manager “The Princess of Pro Wrestling RIOT” Amy Vitale and her House of Vitale, goes against the new FIP Florida Heritage Champion Chris Jones. Amadeus, formerly known as Austin Andretti, has been a mainstay in Pro Wrestling RIOT and has impressed since breaking free from Vitale. Jones comes to RIOT with a very impressive resume that he’s been able to amass in a very short time. Both these young competitors are hungry for RIOT gold and either one could be the dark horse in this tournament.

Bumz ‘R’ Us (Ray Beez & Mr. Milo Beasley) vs. The New Dynamic Duo (Fantastic Dantastic & K-Dizzy) - Fresh off their 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup victory over Lou The Fixer & Snow of the House of Vitale in a brutal TLC match, Bumz ‘R’ Us have momentum going into the Pro Wrestling RIOT Tag Team Tournament. Impressive victories over Team Vision, Lou The Fixer & Snow, as well as winning the 12-Man Tag Team Warfare match at Declaration of War has established this unlikely tag team as a force not only in Pro Wrestling RIOT, but throughout the entire Southeast. Not much is known The New Dynamic Duo except that they seen to be based in South Florida. The Duo recently participated in the Tag Team Gauntlet at the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup and even scored a handicap victory over the massive Snow at Escalation, thanks primarily to Bumz ‘R’ Us.

The House of Vitale (Lou The Fixer & Snow) vs. The British Lions (Chris Gray & Tommy Taylor) – The House of Vitale attempts to re-establish itself after a brutal TLC loss to Bumz ‘R’ Us at the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. Could they have revenge on their minds with hope of meeting Bumz ‘R’ Us later in the tournament? Ms. Vitale seems to be hedging her bets to capture tag team gold as she has two teams vying for gold, Lou The Fixer & Snow, as well as The Heartbreak Express. Does Ms. Vitale have a preference over one team or another, or is she just concerned about bringing home the gold by any means necessary? The British Lions are fresh off their Tag Team Gauntlet victory at the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. These former WWE developmental stars made an immediate impact by eliminating The Heartbreak Express to win the gauntlet. This did not bold well with Ms. Vitale. Could she be using Lou The Fixer & Snow as roadblocks for the British Lions or does she have other tricks under her crown?

The Fallout from the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup

In the main event in Brooksville, 911 Inc. fell to the team of Sedrick Strong, Sideshow, Bruce Santee and Black Market in the Steel Cage War Games match. Despite getting the upper hand on 911 Inc., the celebration was marred by problems between Sedrick Strong and Sideshow. During the celebration, Sedrick was getting a bit too friendly with Sideshow’s sister Danielle, and Sideshow punched Strong and stormed out of the cage with Danielle. Both Sedrick and Sideshow will be in Port Richey on Saturday night at Road to Gold.

In a Tag Team Gauntlet, the Heartbreak Express thought that they would have an easy victory, but they were defeated by the British Lions. Sean and Phil Davis figured that winning the Gauntlet match would be a springboard for the tag team tournament and the titles. The Heartbreak Express will get another shot at the British Lions in the first round of the tag team tournament. Will the second time be the charm for the Heartbreak Express or will the British Lions get a second victory over the Heartbreak Express?

Pro Wrestling Riot Champion to be Determined in Tournament

Sixteen men will battle for the honor of being named the first Pro Wrestling Riot Champion. The first round will be spread out over the next two shows and we will see four first round matches on Saturday night. Those matches are Kenny King versus Sedrick Strong; Scott Davis versus Austin Amadeus; Shawn Osborne versus Jaison Moore; and Roderick Strong versus Bruce Santee.

There is some history in these first round matches. This is the second meeting between Sedrick Strong & Kenny King, with Kenny getting the win in their first encounter. Roderick Strong and Bruce Santee are two of the top wrestlers in the state of Florida and the Marquee will get his chance to show if he is the best in the state.

Tag Titles to also be determined in a Tournament

The first Pro Wrestling Riot Tag Team Champions will be crowned in an eight team tournament with the first round matches also being held over the next two shows. Two matches will take place on Saturday night. The matches will be the Dark City Fight Club versus Bumz R Us; and The British Lions versus The Heartbreak Express.

With the brawls that the Bumz have been involved in with Lou the Fixer, Damballah and Raymond Snow; they should be ready for the brutality of the Dark City Fight Club. The Heartbreak Express will be looking for revenge against the team that beat them in the Tag Team Gauntlet during Night Two of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup? Sean and Phil have held tag team gold before so they will be looking to add to their list of achievements with a win in this tournament.

Six Man Tag Match Announced for Night One
In addition to the first round matches of the tournament, a six man tag match has been added to Friday night’s show in Port Richey, Florida. Two of the teams that have been battling in Pro Wrestling Riot for the last year will meet as the Lifeguards and the Heartbreak Express continue their feud. The members of Club Vitale will be joined by Scott Davis. The Lifeguards will be joined by one of the men who was kicked out of the VIP section of Club Vitale, Austin Amadeus. Will Amadeus be able to get revenge on the people who turned their backs on him or will Amy’s men get the last laugh on Amadeus?

Also Added to Night One: Cruiserweight Showcase
Another match has been added to Night One as three of the Cruiserweights who were unable to get into this year’s tournament will get a chance to wrestle on the show as part of a Triple Threat Match as Chasyn Rance, Jerrelle Clark, and Icarus will battle. Clark and Rance are veterans of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup while Icarus comes to Florida from the Chikara promotion.

Another Non-Tournament Match Added to Night Two in Brooksville
There is another big non-tournament match on Saturday night in Brooksville that should have the fans on the edge of their seats. Over the last few months, Bumz R Us has been using borrowed money to make their opponents miserable. They have battled with Lou the Fixer and Damballah in a number of matches that have seen Ray Beez choke slammed off a semi truck through three tables; and Lou the Fixer get sent through a table by Milo Beasley and Ray Beez. Brooksville will get to see the next match between these two teams and it will be a TLC Match.

Mystery Partners Revealed
Sideshow, Bruce Santee and Sedrick Strong announced that their partners are one of the most violent tag teams in the state of Florida, Joey Machete and Shawn Murphy of Black Market. The former FIP Tag Team Champions and two time winners of the Cage of Pain vow to "Elevate the Hate" on September 27th in Brooksville when they enter the War Games match.

Upon hearing that Black Market would join Strong, Santee and Sideshow; Ron Niemi answered with the announcement that the team from 911 Incorporated will be anchored by former WWE Superstar Mike Shane. Shane has recently been in Puerto Rico to help extend the influence of 911 Incorporated, but is now called back to the fold for War Games.

Marquee Match Announced for Port Richey
As a prelude to the War Games Steel Cage Match, a big match has been announced for Friday, September 26 in Port Richey, Florida. Before they enter the steel cage, Bruce Santee will face Kory Chavis of the Dark City Fight Club. With the animosity between these two men, will they try to give their team the advantage going into the War Games Steel Cage Match by trying to eliminate some of the competition? Will Santee fall victim to the "numbers game" that he has been able to neutralize over the last few months?

Tag Team Gauntlet in Brooksville
In addition to the War Games Steel Cage Match and the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup: officials have announced a Tag Team Gauntlet Match. The tag team division in Pro Wrestling Riot has been very strong and it will be in the spotlight of the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. Already announced for the Gauntlet are the two time former FIP Tag Team Champions the Heartbreak Express of Sean and Phil Davis; The Loggers of Dagon and Jack Manley; and the Lifeguards of Wade Koverly and Daron Smythe.

Will the newest additions to Amy Vitale’s collection start winning or will Amy grow tired of them and treat them the same way that she treated Austin Amadeus before discarding him?

It will be Francisco Ciatso and Shawn Osborne who will face Dany Only and Sideshow in Port Richey in their warm up match for the War Games Match in Brooksville on night two of the 2008 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup.

Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup Qualifier on August 30th
The fans in Port Richey will get an added surprise on August 30th because the only qualifying match for the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup will be held in a Pro Wrestling Riot ring. Jeff Peterson was a cruiserweight who died from cancer in 2002. Since 2003, the state of Florida has seen an annual cruiserweight tournament to honor the life of Jeff Peterson. Some of the top wrestlers in the sport have participated in the tournament. Already announced for this year are Erick Stevens, Tommy Taylor, Rhett Titus, Jon Davis, Gran Akuma, Jigsaw, Chris Jones, and Chris Gray. Who will join these eight men as part of the Florida wrestling tradition? The names of the participants have not been released and will not be announced until the show. Sideshow Faces Another Member of 911 Incorporated
At Escalation, Sideshow returned to the ring after his ninety day exile and he was successful in his first match against a member of 911 Incorporated when he defeated Francisco Ciatso. On August 30th, Sideshow turns his attention to Jon Davis of the Dark City Fight Club. Sideshow continues to try to get revenge for the brutal attack by 911 Incorporated against his sister Danielle. Will the other members of 911 Incorporated get involved in the match to stop Sideshow? Will the locker room have Sideshow’s back like last month?

Tag Team Battle Announced
In another match that has just been announced, two of the top tag teams in Pro Wrestling Riot meet in the ring as Wade Koverly and Daron Smythe of the Lifeguards meet Kenny King and Chasyn Rance of Team Vision. At Escalation, Team Vision demanded that they face top talent and they will get their chance on the 30th when they face the Lifeguards. Last month, Team Vision attacked the Lifeguards after the Lifeguards’ match against the Heartbreak Express. With revenge on their mind, will the Lifeguards be able to focus on their opponents or will they need someone to save them after they deal with Team Vision?
