Headlines for 8.26.08 Go Shiozaki Wins FIP Title Go Shiozaki defeated FIP World Heavyweight Champion Erick Stevens on August 23rd in Crystal River, FL in a match of the year candidate to win the FIP World Heavyweight Title. The emotional bout saw both athletes struggle back and forth for over 25 minutes before Shiozaki scored the win. Some fans were shocked, many were angered as they started throwing garbage and storming out of the building at the outcome of this historic bout. Shiozaki, who is managed by Sean & Phil Davis of Heartbreak Enterprises in FIP and Larry Sweeney of Sweet & Sour Inc. in ROH, is now negotiating for his first title defense. Shiozaki, touted as a future star for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, has now won his first major singles title. The news quickly spread to Japan where it received considerable coverage. No matter where Shiozaki goes in his career or what titles he wins, the FIP Championship will be his first major victory. This was a heartbreaking loss for Stevens, who wanted nothing more in the world than to successfully defend the FIP World Heavyweight Title in front of his friends, family and longtime fans in his home state of Florida. This is the second time that Stevens won the FIP World Heavyweight Title, successfully defended it against two tough opponents on ROH events only to lose it in his first defense in Florida. Stevens is trying to regroup so he can go after the FIP World Heavyweight Title again. "Once again Japan proves it is better than the United States," Sean Davis said. "Especially anything from Florida. There is no one happier than myself and my good friend Larry Sweeney. No one can defeat Go Shiozaki. The YRR have stated that they don't have to deal with The Age Of The Fall anymore. Now The YRR of FIP Florida Heritage Champion Sal Rinauro, FIP Tag Team Champions Kenny King & Jason Blade and Chasyn Rance say there is no one in the state of Florida that can stop them. Roderick Strong, a native of Florida, has stepped forward and taken exception to the antics of The YRR. Headlines for 8.12.08 Erick Stevens New Champ Tough Road To 8/23 Erick Stevens defeated Roderick Strong in a brutal Dog Collar Match at the last FIP event on July 19th to win the FIP World Heavyweight Title. Now Stevens has a tough road ahead as he hopes to return to FIP's next event on August 23rd in Crystal River, FL (check www.FullImpactPro.com for tix and building info) as champion. Stevens says he will be a fighting champion and he has backed up those words. He will defend the belt this Friday at ROH's event in Cleveland against Claudio Castagnoli. If he is successful he will put the belt right back on the line 24 hours later at ROH's show in Chicago against Chris Hero. He will return to FIP on August 23rd to defend the belt against Go Shiozaki if he is still champion. If Stevens loses the belt to either Hero or Castagnoli, he will face Shiozaki in a regular match on August 23rd. Attempts will be made to add Castagnoli or Hero to the card and make Triple Threat Match on 8/23 for the FIP World Heavyweight Title. "This

in my home state of Florida." Shiozaki Joins Heartbreak Enterprises And Attacks Stevens Go Shiozaki made an immediate impact in FIP. On his first night at the last event, he defeated ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness in a non-title match. He proved to be very popular with the fans. However, he soon stabbed all the fans right in the back. Shiozaki crashed Erick Stevens' FIP World Heavyweight Title victory celebration and attacked the new champion. It was then revealed that Larry Sweeney, Shiozaki's agent, sold Shiozaki's FIP contract to Sean Davis of Heartbreak Enterprises with Phil Davis. Sean then said that Shiozaki earned a title shot by defeating McGuinness. He then purchased that title shot from Sweeney in the transaction for Go's FIP contract. Sweeney said that he cashed in that title shot on 8/23 as Stevens' first challenger in FIP. Go then added insult to injury when he covered a bloody and knocked out Stevens with the Japanese flag right in the middle of the ring. Now Stevens is after revenge when FIP returns to action on August 23rd. "The
FIP World Heavyweight Title is going to Japan," Sean Davis said.
"Heartbreak Enterprises is the new force in FIP and we need the
World Heavyweight Title to prove it. I think Stevens will make it past

Mark Briscoe Injured, Jay Briscoe Still Going After FIP Tag Titles Mark Briscoe suffered a serious injury to the ligaments in his wrist at last Saturday's Ring Of Honor event in Chicago Ridge, IL at the hands of Jimmy Jacobs. As a result, Mark will get surgery this Friday and miss 3-6 months of action. Obviously, Mark will not be able to appear at this Saturday's FIP event. Mark was scheduled to team with brother Jay to try to regain the FIP Tag Team Titles from Jason Blade & Kenny King of The YRR. Jay will now get to choose a new partner and they will challenge Blade & King this Saturday in Crystal River, FL. Jay's choice will be revealed at the live event on Saturday. "I feel like I was just cut in half," Jay Briscoe said. "I'm in a fightin' mood and I'll find me a partner and take out my frustrations on The YRR. I'm gonna win the belts back for my brother while he's in the hospital. The YRR are going to be in for a beating in Crystal River."
Strong vs. Stevens Set To Explode In Crystal River FIP World Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong will put the belt on the line in a Last Man Standing Match this Saturday against Erick Stevens. This has quickly become one of wrestling's hottest feuds. Every time these two collide it is a hard-hitting, brutal war. This Saturday will be no exception. This match was signed after the happenings at ROH's "Supercard Of Honor III" on March 30th in Orlando, FL. Strong and Stevens were supposed to wrestle for the FIP World Heavyweight Title on that night. Instead, they beat the hell out of each other in an all out fight until neither man could stand. Things got worse for Stevens then as Strong shaved his trademark mohawk. Now this Saturday there will be no rules and the last man standing will be FIP World Heavyweight Champion. "I'm looking forward to it," Strong said. "I have a good time beating up Erick. I'm going to chop him until his chest bleeds, I'm going to forearm until his nose breaks and then I'm going to kick his head off. I have something I want to say to the fans of Crystal River too." "This Saturday is going to be my night," Stevens said. "You've done all you can do to me Roderick and I'm still standing. You stole my belt, you stole my identity, you've hit me as hard as you can, but I'm still here. Headlines for 4.9.08 Grudge Tag & Three Title Matches Signed For April 26th Event Full Impact Pro returns to action on April 26th for "Dangerous Intentions 2008" at its homebase of Crystal River, FL with a huge event (check www.FullImpactPro.com for ticket & building info). Stipulation Announced For FIP World Heavyweight Title Match The feud between FIP World Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong and Erick Stevens is red hot. It got even hotter at the March 29th ROH event in Orlando when Strong and Stevens fought in a bloodbath. Strong then took Stevens' identity by shaving his mohawk, which Stevens has had his entire career (see highlights of this for free in the current ROH Video Wire at ROHvideos.com). Briscoes Set For Rematch For FIP Tag Team Titles The YRR of Kenny King & Jason Blade shocked everyone by winning the FIP Tag Team Titles from Jay & Mark Briscoe last November. They have done their best to duck The Briscoes, but they can't avoid them anymore. King & Blade will defend the belts vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe on April 26th in Crystal River, FL. The Briscoes are determined to win the titles back. "We are going to pull out everything we got on April 26th," Jay Briscoe said. "Ya'll better man up when The Briscoes come to Crystal River. Those are our belts and they are coming back to me and my brother."
Delirious Gets Florida Heritage Title Shot Delirious has become a thorn in the side of Sal Rinauro and The YRR. He has even pinned Florida Heritage Champion Rinauro on two occasions, including ROH's "Proving Ground" event last January. Now Delirious will get his shot at the belt. It will be Rinauro vs. Delirious for the Florida Heritage Title on April 26th in Crystal River, FL. "I have even less respect for Delirious than I do for the so called hall of famers from Florida like Eddie Graham and Gordon Solie," Rinauro said. Title Match This will be the most special night of FIP World Heavyweight Champion Erick Stevens' career. He will return to FIP and his homestate of Florida as the FIP Champion. Both he and Strong have been born and bred in Florida. Strong held the title for 13 months before Stevens defeated him in Manhattan at ROH's "Final Battle 2007" to win the belt on December 30th. Stevens survived the toughest schedule of his life in January and truly rose to the champion role.
